This blog is made with the purpose of reviewing and presenting the recent literature, as well as clinical aspects of modern orthodontics. It is a place to be informed about news and trends on the field along with related fields, such as orofacial pain, maxillofacial surgery, periodontology, arthritis and others.

The long term aim, is to create a base of knowledge and discussion, targeting to the continuous education and scientific evolution of all participants, both contributors and readers of the blog.


  • Interesting Features
Check out the search box provided at the side bar, OrthoCorner has gathered for you all the known Journals and Associations in orthodontics and related fields. You can search the topic of your interest, and receive a list of posts on the subject filtered, with matches from only those scientific websites and journals.


Lastly there is some selected literature, as well as a short list of open access orthodontic journals.

  • Translation Feature
This blog has enabled the Google translation feature. When you log-in from an IP address that shows which country you are coming from, it automatically asks if you would like to see the content translated to your language. The translated content comes from Google, and may not be of high quality in some cases. It is therefore suggested to read this blog in English.

  • Comments Moderation
Comment moderation is on. The aim is to keep this blog a clean place for dentists and orthodontists to exchange knowledge and discuss matters of interest. Scientific comments will not be moderated whatever the content, only spam and advertising comments will be deleted (I am very well aware that Google suggests to post your website at relevant blogs to increase page-views, but don't do everything that Google says! :)
