EOS 2010, Aarhus Orthodontic Department

The EOS of 2010 in Slovenia has come to an end on the 19th of June.

The European Orthodontic Society (EOS) has two Research Grant Programmes: 

EOS Research Grantsand W J B and Houston Memorial Research Scholarship.

Among the interesting keynotes, posters and courses, our department of the Aarhus Dental School had some very interesting awards to count among some of our staff.

• Paolo Cattaneo, PhD one of our very active researchers, has had the pleasure of wining a very important award, The Houston Award.
• Prof B. Melsen has been appointed Honorary Member of The European Orthodontic Society
• Cesare Luzi, Carlarberta Verna, Prof B. Melsen, won the Beni Solow Award, for the paper,  Immediate loading of orthodontic mini-implants: a histomorphometric evaluation of tissue reaction, Eur J Or Feb 2009.
